Title: Sustainable CO2 bioconversion by microbial electrochemical tools using fluidised electrodes

The objective is to design, construct and operate a Microbial electrochemical fluidized bed reactor (ME-FBR) to carry out a microbial electrosynthesis process for the conversion of CO2 into two different target added-value products such as volatile fatty acids (acetic, propionic, and butyric acids), alcohols (ethanol and butanol). In addition, the project will explore a 3D vision system to monitor the performance bioreactor operation on real time.
