He completed undergraduate internships and his Master’s Thesis at the Institute of General Organic Chemistry of the CSIC (IQOG-CSIC). Under the title of “Persistent organic pollutants in mangrove sediments in Brazil”, his TFM consisted of the analysis and characterization of contamination by some relevant POPs such as PCBs, PBDEs, PCDD/Fs and some organochlorine pesticides, which can be found in unique ecosystems such as mangroves.

He currently works at IMDEA Agua as a Research Assistant in the project “Plastic chemical additive release from plastic debris and their mobility in soil agroecosystems (AddiPlaS)”, Grant PID2022-140011OB-I00 funded by MICIU/AEI/10.13039/501100011033 and by ERDF A way of making Europe.
