She is a Chemical Engineer from the University of Orient (UO) ¨Julio Antonio Mella¨- Cuba (2015). After graduating, she worked as a chemical engineer for the craft-brewery manufacture in Varadero-Cuba, being the responsible in the control of automated and computerized operations. Specifically, during this period her roles included the production of beer and malt, the operating and technological control of the factory and the quality control supervisions. In 2019, she started postgraduate specialization courses in Chemical Engineering in University of Concepción in Chile. During this period, she worked as a teacher assistance in laboratory practices of chemical processes.
She joined the membrane technology group of IMDEA Water in October 2020 as a predoctoral research in the framework of the project INREMEM 2.0. (Hybrid wastewater treatments based on recycled membranes with the objective of zero liquid discharge (ZLD)). Her doctoral study is supported from the program Formación del Personal Investigador (FPI) granted by Spanish Ministry of Science, Innovation and Universities.
