Graduated in 2006 in Geological Sciences at the University of Salamanca. She has a degree in hydrogeology from “Fundación Centro Internacional de Hidrología Subterránea” (2007), a Master’s degree in Hydrogeology from FCIHS-Technical University of Cataluña (2007-2009) and degree in Hydrogeological aspects in mining by “Fundación Centro Internacional de Hidrología Subterránea” (2013-2014). During her career, she has worked in groundwater contamination research focusing on the behavior and transport of organic and inorganic compounds. She has participated in “CONSOLIDER TRAGUA PROJECT” (2007-2011) and in “PID 2011-075: Behavior and temporal evolution of arsenic in groundwater of the Argentina Republic Research Project”. She has also worked as a research assistant for the “Soil and Water Quality in the environment” research group at IMDEA Water, as part of the FatePharM project “Irrigation of crops with surface water contaminated with pharmaceuticals and trace metals: natural attenuation or health risk?” (CTM2017-89995-R), funded by the State Research Agency (AEI) and the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF).
She is currently working at IMDEA Water as a technician (grant PTA2020-019363-I funded by MCIN/AEI/10.13039/501100011033 and by ESF Investing in your future).
