She has an Environmental Science Degree from the Autonoma University of Madrid (2005) and a Master in Environmental Management, Quality and Audit (2006). She worked at Sociedad Española de Tratamiento de Aguas (SETA) in the national division developing design and economic evaluation of water treatment plants for different uses, mainly desalination for industry, thermosolar plants, industrial effluents treatment and drinking water treatment plants (2006-2009). She obtained Environmental Health Technical Expert qualification (2012). She worked at APPLUS Norcontrol in the microbiology laboratory performing microbiological tests, according to ISO standards, for food, cosmetic and water samples (2012). Subsequently she worked as a laboratory technician at Aquimisa in the microbiology department (2013-2014). Currently, she is working in IMDEA Water as a research assistant. Now she is conducting her doctoral thesis is in the use of recycled membranes in membrane bioreactors. Her work is within the national projects INREMEM (Innovation and recycling of membranes for water treatment) and INREMEM 2.0 (Hybrid treatments of modified wastewater in recycled membranes with zero liquid discharge objective (ZLD)). She is author of 5 scientific publications, 1 publication in international conferences and 1 national patent.
