Graduated in Environmental Sciences in 2021 from the University of Alcalá. Her final degree project was dedicated to the study of microplastics as vectors of pollution.
In June 2022, she obtained the title of Master in Hydrology and Water Resources Management (University of Alcalá and Rey Juan Carlos University). During her master’s thesis with the Bioe group, she was introduced to the field of microbial electrochemical technologies.
In 2022, she started his career in the world of research thanks to a scholarship from the University of Milan (Italy). During this period she dedicated herself to the study of the use of bioelectrochemical wetland technology in the treatment of water from the food industry and the recovery of nutrients for use in algae farming.
In May 2023, she joined the IMDEA Water Institute as a Research Assistant for the Bioe group through the MOBIMET project, grant CPP2021-008936 funded by MCIN/AEI /10.13039/501100011033 and by the European Union NextGenerationEU/PRTR.
