She has a Biology degree from Universidad Autónoma de Madrid (UAM) (2012). In 2013, she got a scholarship called “Leonardo Da Vinci” in a water laboratory in Mestre (Venice, Italy). In 2014, she obtained a Master’s degree in Management of Natural Protected Areas from (UAM, Universidad Complutense y Universidad de Alcalá) (2012). In February of 2021, she received her PhD in Water Science and Technology studying the effect of metals in the composition and function of prokaryotic communities in fluvial biofilms, throughout molecular analysis (mainly amplicon sequencing and qPCR) and field studies. She attended to several international formation courses about this field.
In 2021 she works as technical research in the Centro de Estudios Avanzados de Blanes (CEAB-CSIC) inside a Spanish governmental project as a principal responsible of molecular analysis of prokaryotes involved in the phosphorous cycle. Her studies has been presented in several and national and international congresses and published in scientific journals.
Nowadays, she works at IMDEA Water as Laboratory Doctor Technician.
