Isabella obtained a bachelor’s degree in International Relations and Diplomacy from the University of Bologna and a master’s degree in International Politics and Government from LUMSA University in Rome. During her academic training, she studied at UQAM University in Montreal and Sorbonne Paris Nord University. She participated in the International Master’s Degree in Sustainable Management and Governance of Water in the Natural and Agricultural Environment at CIEHAM in Zaragoza, where she explored social, economic and political concerns and issues related to drought in her first-year thesis and suggested management initiatives.
She joined IMDEA Water as a pre-doctoral researcher as part of the Transcend project (funded by the European Union’s HORIZON EUROPE research and innovation programme under grant agreement No. 101084110), where she will focus on debunking techniques for more resilient water management using experimental and behavioural tools for robust decision-making.
