She graduated in Environmental Sciences from the Universidad Autónoma de Madrid (2017), and she got a master’s degree in Ecology from the Universidad Autónoma de Madrid (2019).

She did her final degree work on a project on the variation of biotic indices of water quality, as a function of geographical gradients in siliceous Mediterranean mountain rivers of the Tajo basin, in the ecology group of the Universidad Autónoma de Madrid. Her master’s thesis consisted of finding out the trophic structure of a littoral gradient in an arctic lake of the Svalbard archipelago (Norway) in the microbiology group of the Universidad Autónoma de Madrid.

In the professional world she worked as a technician in a company in the department of parks and gardens indicators and later as an environmental consultant in renewable energies. In addition to an internship in an environmental consulting firm participating in projects specialized in the study of the quality of rivers and lakes.

She started working at IMDEA Water as a research assistant in the Soil and Water Quality in the Environment (SWQ) group: Her contract was funded by the European Union – Next Generation EU, through the “Investigo Programme”, within the framework of the Recovery and Resilience Mechanism of the European Union.

She then worked as a Senior Laboratory Technician in the Nat4health project, Grant PID2020-118521RB-I00 funded by MICIU/AEI /10.13039/501100011033.

She is currently a support technician for the CARESOIL project (this project has been funded through the R&D activities program with reference TEC-2024/ECO-69 and acronym CARESOIL-CM granted by the Community of Madrid through the Directorate General for Research and Technological Innovation via Order 5696/2024).
