She graduated in Environmental Sciences from the Universidad Autónoma de Madrid (2017), and she got a master’s degree in Ecology from the Universidad Autónoma de Madrid (2019).
She did her final degree work on a project on the variation of biotic indices of water quality, as a function of geographical gradients in siliceous Mediterranean mountain rivers of the Tajo basin, in the ecology group of the Universidad Autónoma de Madrid. Her master’s thesis consisted of finding out the trophic structure of a littoral gradient in an arctic lake of the Svalbard archipelago (Norway) in the microbiology group of the Universidad Autónoma de Madrid.
In the professional world she worked as a technician in a company in the department of parks and gardens indicators and later as an environmental consultant in renewable energies. In addition to an internship in an environmental consulting firm participating in projects specialized in the study of the quality of rivers and lakes.
She is currently working at IMDEA Water as a research assistant in the Soil and Water Quality in the Environment (SWQ) group: Her contract is funded by the European Union – Next Generation EU, through the “Investigo Programme”, within the framework of the Recovery and Resilience Mechanism of the European Union.
