Dr Andreu Rico has won the Toxics 2020 Young Investigator Award. As the awardee, Dr. Andreu Rico will receive an honorarium of 1800 CHF, an offer to publish a paper free of charge in Toxics after peer-review, and an engraved plaque.

Dr Rico is the principal investigator of the ecotoxicology group of the IMDEA Water Institute, and a Ramón y Cajal researcher at the Cavanilles Institute of Biodiversity and Evolutionary Biology, at the University of Valencia (Spain).
