Description
Objectives IBERAQUA-NET aims to provide information on current challenges related to water scarcity and chemical pollution in Spanish rivers, both from a scientific and management perspective. General activities
- Establish a network among the partners involved.
- Maintain existing channels for the dissemination and disclosure of existing research projects.
- Conduct meetings with Basin Authorities and other agents involved in freshwater monitoring at the national level.
Expected results
- Original ideas for new research projects and collaborations.
- Knowledge transfer to stakeholders, end users and the general public.
- Promotion on the EU agenda of the specific issues of global change in the basins of the Iberian region, including the updating of the Water Framework Directive.
