Description

Objectives IBERAQUA-NET aims to provide information on current challenges related to water scarcity and chemical pollution in Spanish rivers, both from a scientific and management perspective. General activities

  • Establish a network among the partners involved.
  • Maintain existing channels for the dissemination and disclosure of existing research projects.
  • Conduct meetings with Basin Authorities and other agents involved in freshwater monitoring at the national level.

Expected results

  • Original ideas for new research projects and collaborations.
  • Knowledge transfer to stakeholders, end users and the general public.
  • Promotion on the EU agenda of the specific issues of global change in the basins of the Iberian region, including the updating of the Water Framework Directive.
