Objectives COST PERIAMAR aims to develop a strategy to coordinate efforts to address research needs related to pesticide risk assessment for amphibians and reptiles at the European level.
General activities The action will integrate the expertise provided by herpetologists, ecologists, toxicologists, environmental chemists and risk assessors through various meetings and workshops and provide opportunities for exchange of junior and senior researchers between more than 20 institutions in Europe.
Expected results The action will stimulate networking and training to maximize the capacities of the scientific community to prevent the decline of amphibians and reptiles due to environmental pollution and contribute to the development of sustainable pesticide regulations and policies.
