A delegation from the University of Tapachula in Mexico visited IMDEA Water Institute
The visit was organized by the University of Alcalá
Last September 22, the Rector of the Polytechnic University of Tapachula (Mexico), Dr. Gonzalo Vazquez-Nataren and The Coordinator of the Center for the Study of Foreign Languages at the same university, Ms. Magdalena Leon-Veytia, visited the headquarters of IMDEA Water Institute. The visit was organized by the University of Alcalá, Madrid (specifically by the Director of Technology Transfer, Dr. Luis Miguel Bergasa, and the Technical Director of the OTRI, Antonio Abellan Garcia).
The purpose of the visit was to meet the existing collaboration between the University of Alcalá and the companies and entities located at the Technological Scientific Park “Tecnoalcalá” in which IMDEA Water is located.
With this visit, the delegation was able to see the projects and research activities on water issues that are being developed in the center, for example, projects as LIFE + TRANSFOMEM or the new one H2020 iMETland, among others. Also, they could visit the infrastructures as water, soil, membranes and small pilot plants laboratories.
