IlustraMaxima has published the result and the name of the 5 winners of the Water 2013 Prize. This competition, like other activities Ilustramaxima has, are organized with the aim of spreading cultural, scientific and solidarity in relation to water resources.

All artwork submitted are dealing with famous phrases, being the winners related to: What makes the desert beautiful is that somewhere it hides a well (Antoine de Saint- Exupery, 1st prize Pawel Kuczynski, Poland); What we know is a drop, what we don't know is an ocean (Isaac Newton, 2nd prize Nuria Tamarit Castro, Spain), We never know the value of water till the well is dry (English proverb, 3rd prize Eric Peter Van der Wal, Spain); If there is magic on this planet, it is contained in water, 4th prize Diego Herrera Yayo, Canada); Water is the driving force of all nature (Leonardo da Vinci, 5th prize Edurne Lacunza, Spain).

IMDEA Agua, which supports and assists in the dissemination of Ilustramáxima activities, want to congratulate all the participants, and especially to the winners, for their interest in this competition, their involvement and effort in preparing the illustrations and the high level thereof.
