IMDEA Water outlines the new strategy for the upcoming four years

IMDEA Agua held a joint work meeting focused on the strategy for the next four years. During the meeting, held on Friday 15 December, the director of the institute, Irene de Bustamante, presented the management achievements and the outstanding results for 2023 to the centre’s staff.

During the session, the participants analysed in a collaborative format the organisation from three axes: strategy, people, and processes. “It is about reflecting in a common environment on the future strategy to detect and implement actions that allow us to anticipate changes,” said De Bustamante. More than 50 people from different professional profiles within IMDEA Agua contributed to the session.

Among the objectives set are improving internal communication, strengthening the brand image, developing the profile map, and maintaining the seal of excellence in human resources (HRS4R).

IMDEA Agua, committed to excellence in research, applies the EFQM model to detect opportunities for improvement in administration. This standard is used by more than 30,000 organizations around the world. The Management Excellence Club has awarded IMDEA Agua the 400+ Seal of Excellence, a recognition that is currently in the process of renewal.
