The seminar was organized in Izmir (Turkey)

The European Commission organized in Izmir- Turkey, a new Mutual Learning Seminar about the Human Resources Strategy for Researchers (HRS4R). The objectives of this mutual learning seminar (MLS) were to make a complete overview of the five Steps of the HRS4R in order to share on all aspects of the HRS4R as a whole without artificially cutting into the reality of its implementation in the participating institutions.

The MLS was based on participative methods ensuring the cooperation between participants in order to facilitate the emergence of the collective intelligence. Participants used brainstorming and cross-pollinating processes to facilitate the seminar. 

There were also facilitators, who facilitated the debates in working groups; all of them experienced the full HRS4R process. They have shared their experiences and guided the participants in the development of specific conditions for success. Juana Sanz was facilitator on behalf of IMDEA Water.
