IMDEA Water participated for the second year in technology summit GITA 2014

IMDEA Water participated as part of a Spanish delegation to the summit technological GITA 2014 (Global Innovation and Technology Alliance) held in India on 20 and 21 November. The event, sponsored by the Indian Department of Science and Technology, aims to strengthen partnerships and cooperation between companies and institutions of both countries to boost information technology and information, clean technologies and smart cities.

The Spanish delegation was led by the Centre for the Development of Industrial Technology (CDTI) and co-organized by the Platform for Environmental Technologies (PLANET) the Spanish Technology Platform for the adoption and diffusion of Electronic Technology, Information and Communication (PLANETIC) and it integrated several Spanish companies and research centers.

In this edition, Abraham Esteve Núñez, a researcher at IMDEA Water, presented the different lines and projects of the institute and had several contacts with Indian companies in the water sector to establish future research alliances or agreements.
