IMDEA Water returns to the Madrid is Science Exhibition
IMDEA Agua, along with the rest of the IMDEA institutes, will attend the Madrid Scientific Exhibition, to be held at IFEMA from 23 to 25 March. With water science as a guiding thread, researchers will demonstrate their work in various fields related to water resources.
In this awareness-raising event organised by the Community of Madrid, the public will be able to see firsthand what is being done in the institute. Researchers will show the results of their scientific activity for sustainable development from nature-based solutions, different technologies to assess and ensure water quality or the impact of human activity.
In addition, on Thursday 23 at 1.30 p.m., Abraham Esteve-Núñez, Bioe group’s principal investigator, will give a talk in the Ágora space of the Madri+d Foundation.
The Madrid Institutes for Advanced Studies (IMDEA) will show their work in strategic areas for the Community of Madrid such as water, food, energy, materials, nanoscience, networks, and software.
Madrid is Science is proposed as an integral sample of the scientific-technological innovation of the Community of Madrid from a playful and participatory point of view. The fair is part of the Education Week. This year’s edition, Looking to the Future, is built on three pillars: the Ramón y Cajal Research Year; 2023 International Year of Basic Sciences for Sustainable Development, and Deep tech-Deep science.
