The aim was to increase the innovation and viability of the projects to potential investors

iMETland was among the 10 Selected Horizon 2020 projects to demonstrate, via a business pitch, their promising, innovative and circular solutions and compete for EASME's best pitch award. The event, organised by the EASME Horizon 2020 Eco-Innovation, took place on 12 June at Brussels. Coordinator Abraham Esteve Núñez showed the innovation and viability of the project to potential investors for increase market uptake.  

Carmen Mena Abela, Head of Sector H2020 Eco-innovation (EASME), and Julien Guerrier, Director (EASME), welcomed the participants and encouraged them to bring together innovators and investors and to showcase their exploitable and market ready solutions.

In addition 28 invited Horizon 2020 projects showcase the range of excellent and innovative solutions close to market or under development/demonstration through a poster session.

iMETland team joined a dedicated session in the format of world café that presented different investment opportunities for market ready innovations in the area of water in the circular economy.
