Energy, environment and water management, main issues in IFEMA

GENERA, Energy and Environment International Trade Fair, celebrates this year its 20th edition coinciding in this occasion with the first edition of the Trade Fair for Innovative Water Management Solutions – SIGA.

The trade fairs offer to professional visitors the opportunity of access to the technological improvements and innovation of water and energy sectors. In this edition are participating as exhibitors 76 companies in GENERA and 59 in SIGA.

Both fairs have a program of technical conferences where experts and professionals analyze the main challenges and opportunities.

The technical conferences of GENERA address issues as energy efficiency in urban environments, the perspectives of evolution of thermal solar sector, infrastructure, energy services, self-consumption…

On the other hand, the technical sessions of follow cover topics as technological innovation, small hydro power generation, detection and remove to emerging pollutants, integrated water resources management, use of drones in the sector of water, wastewater treatment for industry…

The Business Beyond Borders matchmaking event is taking place during the first two days of GENERA. This event builds upon and integrates the existing International Bilateral Meetings on Energy and Environmental Technology Transfer organized by the Fundación para el Conocimiento Madri+d.

IMDEA Water participates in the International Matchmaking Event and attends both trade fairs in order to get to know potential partners that extend the network of collaborators, to explore the possibility of participating in European projects and learn about new technologies and services.
