The Deputy Director of IMDEA Water, Irene Bustamante, participated on Tuesday 19 November in the IQUIQUE 2013 International Seminar on "Alternatives on water in Macro Zona Norte" held in Iquique (Chile), with the conference entitled "Reuse: Experiences in Spain ".

The Deputy Director of IMDEA Water, Irene Bustamante, participated on Tuesday 19 November in the IQUIQUE 2013 International Seminar on "Alternatives on water in Macro Zona Norte" held in Iquique (Chile), with the conference entitled "Reuse: Experiences in Spain ".

The objective of this seminar was to inform the authorities, academics, professionals and the general community, the different options being considered to have more water in the region.

The event was organized by the Centre for Research and Development of Water Resources (CIDERH) and ALSUHD Capitulo Chileno.

Currently, CIDERH and IMDEA Water are collaborating on water reuse and hydrogeology. This collaboration has been strengthened through the signing of a framework cooperation agreement.
