Malaysian –Spanish joint workshop
IMDEA Water is participating in the Spanish delegation.
With the aim of facilitating contacts between Spanish and Malaysian entities in the environmental technology sector, and to identify potential collaborations or ideas for research and development projects, CDTI-Spanish Ministry of Economy and Competitiveness and PLANETA-Spanish Platform for Environmental Technology have organized a technological mission to make technical visits to facilities and centers of interest in Malaysia.
Spanish delegation is participating in a workshop about Industrial opportunities and R&D co-operation in environmental technologies, where participants are sharing their expertise in green technologies, also co-organised by Malaysian Industry-Government Group for High Technology (MIGHT).
Malaysia, like most countries in the world, have to deal with climate change and the increasing use of resources and ecosystems. Green technologies, including those related to water, are therefore key in the national research programme in Malaysia.
