She holds a degree in Communication Sciences from the Complutense University of Madrid in 2004. In 2005, she completed a Master’s degree in European Public Policy at the Institute of European Studies of the Université Libre de Bruxelles in Belgium. In 2014, she obtained a postgraduate degree in Promotion and Management of International R&I Projects and Programmes from the Polytechnic University of Madrid.
With extensive experience in science management, from 2006 to 2008 she worked in the Scientific Culture Unit at the madri+d Knowledge Foundation. Since 2009, she has worked in the management of European research projects in various areas: biomedicine, nutrition, future and emerging technologies, public health, renewable energy, mental health, biotechnology, and aeronautics, in public institutions such as the Institute of Health Carlos III (Ministry of Science, Innovation and Universities), the FECYT (Spanish Foundation for Science and Technology), and the European Commission, among others.
