Engineer and researcher specialized in rural economics and agricultural project management.
She completed a five-year engineering education in Tunisia after obtaining the baccalaureate. This program included two preparatory years in Biology and Geology, followed by three years of engineering studies in Rural Economics, with a specialization in the Development and Management of Agricultural Projects.
During the final year of the engineering program, she carried out the graduation project at the Institute of Arid Regions (IRA) in Medenine, Tunisia, within the Laboratory of Rural Economics and Society, gaining research experience on rural development in arid environments.
She also pursued graduate studies in Business Economics and Management at the Mediterranean Agronomic Institute of Chania (MAICh), Greece, with academic training in economic analysis, agribusiness, and policy-oriented research.
In December 2025, she joined IMDEA Water, where current research focuses on Water Security for Economic Resilience within the framework of the TRANSCEND Project. This project is funded by the European Union’s HORIZONTE EUROPE research and innovation program under grant agreement no. 101084110.
