Noureddine is a Predoctoral Researcher at IMDEA Water in the ERC GoC WaterTheft project (Tackling Water Theft: Forecasting Adaptation Surprises. This project is funded by the European Union’s HORIZON EUROPE research and innovation program under grant agreement no. 101124884.). With a master’s degree in water management and governance from CIHEAM Zaragoza, he works on developing integrated modeling frameworks that link human and water systems, combining microeconomic models with hydrological components. His research focuses on designing sustainable water management strategies by simulating human-water interactions under uncertainty and exploring plausible future scenarios to support decision-making and policy development. He joined IMDEA Water in October 2024 as a Research Assistant in the HORIZON Europe MARCLAIMED project, contributing to the assessment of the economic feasibility and stakeholder acceptance of Managed Aquifer Recharge systems.
