Graduated from the University of Alcalá obtaining a bachelor’s degree in Biology (2020) and a master’s degree in Advanced Biotechnology by the Autonomous University of Barcelona (2022).

In 2019 she established contact with Bioe’s group for the first time and participated in extracurricular laboratory activities during the summer. Later, under Bioe’s guidance she worked on her final thesis regarding the development of electroconductive hydrogels and 3D bioprinting of electroactive bacteria during 2020. Her work received an award for “Best Final Thesis in Synthetic Chemistry for the environment and innovation” granted by Chemo (Insud Pharma) and the School of Chemistry of Alcalá de Henares.

Following this line of research, in 2021 she received a scholarship to develop 3D-printed biosensors under the PRINTBIO project (H2020 ATTRACT platform).

Her position as a predoctoral researcher started in 2023, employed by IMDEA Water and financed by the European Union under the TRINEFLEX project “Transformation of energy intensive process industries through integration of energy, process, and feedstock flexibility”. This project is funded be the European Union’s HORIZON EUROPE research and innovation programme under grant agreement No 101058174.
