The consortium REMTAVARES will held on the 27th Novemberthe Workshop "New developments on water and wastewater treatment technologies" at the University of Alcalá.

The workshop’s aim is to offer an updated overview of the main advanced oxidation processes for wastewater treatment and their future challenges.

REMTAVARES (Madrid’s Network for Advanced Wastewater Treatment) is a research network integrated by 5 top research groups from four public Universities in Madrid (URJC, UAM, UAH, UCM) and a public Research Institute, IMDEA Agua.

Altogether they develop a common Research Programme focused on a wide range of technologies, aimed to the treatment of aqueous pollutants, nonremovable by conventional treatments.
