Researchers from Bioelectrogenesis group took part in the seminar “Meet the Fellows”.

Bioelectrogenesis group of IMDEA Water took part in the activity Meet the Fellows, prelude to the Researchers’ Night.

 

Grupo de bioelectrogénesisOn Friday 22, the Bioelectrogenesis group of IMDEA Water and the University of Alcala took part in the divulging activity Meet the Fellows, on the informative seminar on the next call of MSCA Individual Fellowships of Horizon 2020. The event, held in the Cutural Center La Corrala in Madrid, was organised by the Madri+d Fundation.

Conceived as the prelude to the Researchers’ Night, during the event Meet the Fellows, Marie Curie researchers and Marie Sklodowska-Curie researchers from Horizon 2020 presented their projects through experiments, speechs and projections in a ludic atmosphere at the heart of Madrid. These divulgative activities and the public commitment to society are essential to Horizon 2020.

Through the activity entitled Meet the MET, bioelectrogenesis researchers explained the Microbial Electrochemical Technologies (MET) fundaments and their  applications on the field of water treatment. The attendees could discover details about the projects developed by IMDEA Water, suchs as AQUAelectra and Smart Wetland (INNPACTO program) and the recent projects iMETland and MIDES, under the Horizon 2020.
