Researchers from IMDEA attend the NET-SCARCE conference on water scarcity

Ecotoxicology team participated describing the ongoing activities.

Researchers from the Ecotoxicology team of IMDEA Water attended the international conference ‘Rivers Under Water Scarcity: Threats and Challenges’ which took place between the 15 and 16 of November in Barcelona (Spain).

The conference was organized as part of the NET-SCARCE project. The conference was attended by about 70 people from seven different countries and provided a multidisciplinary forum to present and discuss many issues affecting water resources today.

​Alba Arenas-Sánchez,  pre-doctoral researcher  from IMDEA Water, gave a talk entitled ´Assessing the effects of pollution and water scarcity on the vulnerability of aquatic communities in semi-arid regions´, in which she described the ongoing activities of the Ecotoxicology team of IMDEA.
