Researching on water at the European Researchers’ Night 2019
Reserve the activities starting September 17 at 09:00
From the IMDEA Water Institute we propose you to become a scientist for a day. For this, we have prepared different workshops in which you will be able to know what the work of the researchers consists of, the benefits they bring to society and their impact on everyday life.
All this will happen on September 27, 2019, the day that celebrates the European Researchers' Night 2019.
Through different experiments you can discover the benefits that are obtained when we use nature to purify the wastewater we generate.
In addition, you will know the importance of protecting biodiversity in our rivers and lakes while participating in an interactive game, sampling and visualizing through the microscope the organisms that live in the water.
But there is more. The exclusive "Plastic-hunters" Team is looking for new members for its latest mission: seawater operation. Do you want to help them recycle the plastics found in the most remote and unexpected places?
Are you going to miss it?
