Graduated in Biology from the University of Salamanca (2012-2016) and with a master degree in Environmental Microbiology from Radboud University (The Netherlands, 2017-2019), where she participated in projects on climate effect on methanotrophs in arctic environments and development of microbial batteries with methanotrophic archaea.

He then obtained a research fellowship at Tor Vergata University (Italy, 2019-2020) where, in addition, he pursued his PhD in Cellular and Molecular Biology (2020-2024) working with cyanobacteria of the genus Chroococcidiopsis and the development of sustainable technologies for Mars and Moon exploration (with special interest in perchlorate salts).

During his PhD, he obtained the research grant “The Europlanet 2024” to perform planetary simulations at the German Aerospace Center (DLR, Germany), and spent time at the Robert Koch Institute (Germany) and at INTA-CSIC (Spain) investigating proteins and genes for perchlorate resistance. She is the author of three scientific articles and has participated in several international conferences.

Since November 2024, he has been working as a support technician at IMDEA Agua thanks to Grant PTA2023-023255-I funded by MICIU/AEI/10.13039/501100011033 and ESF+.
