Graduated in Biology from the University of Alcalá (2019) and holds a Master’s Degree in Functional Biology and Biotechnology (2020, University of Alcalá). He completed both his Bachelor’s and Master’s theses at the Margarita Salas Biological Research Center (CIB-CSIC, Madrid), focusing on the immobilization of fungal enzymes involved in lignocellulose degradation.
In 2023, he worked as a research assistant at the Institute of Sustainable Processes of the University of Valladolid (ISP-Uva), where he studied lipid accumulation in microbial consortia using wastewater. Later, in 2025, he collaborated with the University of León, evaluating the biological degradation of epoxy resins by bacteria isolated from different types of plastic.
From 15 June 2026, he is employed as an advanced research support technician on MADisWATER Project ‘Madrid is water: Vital technologies for water sustainability in Madrid’, file number 59/323466.9/25, funded by the Community of Madrid and co-funded by the European Union through the European Regional Development Fund within the ERDF Operational Programme of the Community of Madrid for the period 2021-2027, within the framework of the call for 2025 for grants to contribute to the improvement of public-private cooperation in R&D&I through consortium projects with a knock-on effect.
