Graduated in Biology from the University of Alcalá (2019) and holds a Master’s Degree in Functional Biology and Biotechnology (2020, University of Alcalá). He completed both his Bachelor’s and Master’s theses at the Margarita Salas Biological Research Center (CIB-CSIC, Madrid), focusing on the immobilization of fungal enzymes involved in lignocellulose degradation.
In 2023, he worked as a research assistant at the Institute of Sustainable Processes of the University of Valladolid (ISP-Uva), where he studied lipid accumulation in microbial consortia using wastewater. Later, in 2025, he collaborated with the University of León, evaluating the biological degradation of epoxy resins by bacteria isolated from different types of plastic.
He is currently working at IMDEA Water as a support technician within the framework of the EMERGING project (Project PID2022-143233OB-I00 funded by MICIU/AEI /10.13039/501100011033 and by FEDER, EU).
