Higher technician in Environmental Chemistry. He obtained his degree by studying the Higher Level Training Cycle in Environmental Chemistry (I.E.S. Palomeras Vallecas, Madrid, 2004). He did the correspondent practical training in the company OTGA-THAU, which dedicates its work to treatments against legionella and physic and chemical analysis of water.
He was awarded with the scholarship FINNOVA (2005) at the Department of Geology of the University of Alcalá, which allowed him to collaborate in the Project REN2003-01248-HID from MICINN. In 2006, he was hired as research personnel by this department. During a year and a half, he worked with different analytical techniques such as ionic chromatography, spectrophotometry, Total Organic Carbon (TOC)… including calibration of the laboratory equipment and physicochemical water analysis, and he was also associated to different projects (REN2003-01248-HID, CGL2007-65712-C03-01HID y CSD2006-00044).
He is currently working in iMdea Water as laboratory technician since 2008. He performs water and soil analysis by measuring a wide variety of parameters within the laboratory of Quality Control and the microbiology laboratory. He has a wide experience in sampling procedures, as well as in the in situ analysis of several parameters. On the other hand, he performs other functions related to laboratory gases and residues management, and purchasing management.
