Graduated in Biology from the Universidad Autónoma de Madrid (2021) and with a master’s degree in Microbiology with a specialization in Environmental Microbiology from the Universidad Autónoma de Madrid (2023). Her master’s thesis focused on analyzing the risk of toxicity from cyanobacteria in various aquatic systems in Spain.
She has worked as a Research Support Technician at the Universidad Autónoma de Madrid and the Universidad Complutense de Madrid on various projects related to the ecology and toxicity of cyanobacteria. She has also worked with airborne microorganisms from samples collected in Antarctica, quantifying bacteria using microscopy.
She currently works at IMDEA Agua as a Advanced Laboratory Technician on the “Reuse4Food” project, funded by the Ramón Areces Foundation (22nd National Competition for the Award of Research Grants in Life and Material Sciences).
