Graduate in Biology from the University of Salamanca (2018). She completed the Master in Applied Microbiology in Public Health and Infectious Diseases Research (2019, University of Alcalá) and the Master in Omic Data Analysis and Systems Biology (2022, International University of Andalusia).
She did her Master’s Thesis on the phenotypic, genotypic and resistance gene characterisation of bacterial populations at the Antibiotic Resistance Research Laboratory (CNM, ISCIII). In her second TFM, she developed data analysis tools based on Python, R and BASH implemented in HPC, applied to the taxonomic and functional analysis of meta-genomes and transcriptome of prokaryotes in saline environments at the Microbiology and Parasitology Laboratory (Faculty of Pharmacy, University of Seville).
During 2020 she worked as a support technician in the field of antibiotic resistance at the Laboratory of Bacterial and Antimicrobial Resistance (IBiS, Seville) and continues in 2022 as a bioinformatician at the Laboratory of Cardiovascular Risk and Microbiota (IdISSC, Madrid).
She is currently working at IMDEA agua as a laboratory support technician thanks to Grant PTA2022-022494-I funded by MCIN/AEI/10.13039/501100011033 and by ESF Investing in your future.
