Abraham Esteve Núñez, a researcher at the University of Alcalá-IMDEA Water and technical project coordinator, shared with the audience the latest advances in wastewater treatment during his talk Microbial electrochemical technologies applied to water purification. The project AQUAELECTRA. Grupo Bioindicación Sevilla re-joins in Seville from 1996 the professionals of the sector of wastewater treatment. Speakers and attendees come from various fields –government, university, private and public companies, which favors the debate and dialogue. Every year these days are one of the most important developments in the study of activated sludge in Spain, attended by over 100 professionals from universities, companies and government.
