The event will be take at the University of Edinburgh from 23 to 28 of June
This week the 36th edition of the European Membrane Society (EMS) Summer School is taking place. It is organized by the School of Engineering at the University of Edinburgh. This special EMS Summer School is held from June 23 to 28, 2019 at the Campus of King's Buildings under the motto Membranes for a sustainable future.
Researchers from IMDEA Water membrane technology group, Laura Rodríguez, Jorge Senán and Amaia Ortiz de Lejarazu are attending to it, while Junkal Landaburu is participating as an invites speaker in the session on resources recovery with the lecture "Circular economy approach in membrane technology: recycling of end-of-life reverse osmosis membrane". During the talk the work carried out and the results obtained both in the project European Life Transfomem (Ref. LIFE13 ENV/ES/000751) as in the national project INREMEM (Ref. CTM2015-65348-C2-1-R) will be discussed.
The event brings together senior researchers and professionals from the industrial sector related to the sustainable membrane technology and first phase researchers focused on sustainability in membrane science and engineering.
