IMDEA Water participates organizing five activities

You can already check on the website of the European Researchers' Night in Madrid 2017 the 46 activities to be held on September 29, 2017 in different localities of the Community of Madrid. 

The European Researchers' Night in Madrid is an event dedicated to popular science andfun learning. It is a unique opportunity to meet researchers, talk to them, and find out what they really do for society, in interactive and engaging ways. 

IMDEA Water joins once again to this initiative with the organization 5 activities to be held from 18.00 to 21.00 h at the Royal Botanic Garden Juan Carlos I (Alcalá de Henares, Madrid):

Research outside the confort zone (groundwater and groundwater dependent ecosytems)	Bloom: The explosion of aquatic life	May a waste product produce drinking water?

Meet the METland, a smart generation of wastewater treatments		Is it possible to clean water using sunlight?

In addition, the IMDEA Water Institute has been selected to participate in Science is wonder-ful, a special event organized by the European Commission and the European Parliament to be held in Brussels, which aims to illustrate the achievements of Marie Skłodowska -Curie researchers.

The European Researchers' Night takes place every year all over Europe and neighbouring countries the last Friday of September. This year, the events will take place on Friday 29 September in over 340 cities. 

This project of the European Researchers' Night in Madrid 2016 is funded by the Framework Programme for Research and Innovation Horizon 2020 under the Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions of the European Commission.
