Researcher Ana J. Vega de Armas, from the Bioe group, has been awarded by the Royal Society of Chemistry with the prize for the best poster presentation at the Materials for Sustainable Development Conference (MATSUS25), held in Seville last week.

The work, entitled Analysis of BES-BioH2 System for sustainable wastewater treatment and simultaneous hydrogen production, was presented at the Electrochemical Water Treatment Symposium.

The MATSUS conference consists on a combination of symposia of basic and multidisciplinary science, and applied symposia focused on Sustainable Development areas. El investigador Juan Manuel Ortiz ha sido uno de los ponentes invitados.
