IMDEA Agua presents its innovation lines at VivaTech 2025

IMDEA Water participated this week in Viva Technology 2025, one of the leading European events dedicated to technological innovation, held in Paris from June 11 to 14. The institute was a member of the Madrid institutional delegation, led by Marina Villegas, General Manager of Research and Technological Innovation.

Dr Abraham Esteve Núñez, from the Bioe Group, participated in a roundtable discussion on institutional support for innovation. The purpose of the mission was to establish contacts with international organisations, explore possibilities for technology transfer, and raise awareness of the applied research work carried out in Madrid.

Attendance at these types of events is part of IMDEA Agua´s strategy to foster open innovation, facilitate the practical application of research, and promote collaborative environments with companies, universities, and public administrations.

VivaTech 2025 brought together more than 3,500 exhibitors and representatives from over 120 countries. In this context, the Madrid delegation included startups, public entities, and research centres, all with the shared goal of showcasing the capabilities of the regional innovation ecosystem.
